He has trained as Vipassana mindfulness meditation facilitator with Vipassana Support International and holds a Master Hypnotherapist certificate. He has served on the board of directors of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and currently develops psychotherapy curriculum for community counseling centers. He is an active member of Toastmasters’ International, the charitable Seva Foundation and the Philemon Foundation. He lives in Dana Point, where he works with Rhodesian Ridgeback show dogs in therapeutic environments.
